Walk – Basset’s Cove and Tehidy Country Park.
Basset’s Cove and Tehidy Country Park.
Start/end
Basset’s Cove car park – Postcode: TR14 0HE GridReference: SW 6385 4414
Description
This walk was a bit of an accidental find. We start exploring Tehidy Country park and found a path out to the coast. We discovered Basset’s Cove, so made our way back to the car and moved it to Basset’s Cove and had a walk along the coast.
We could have done it all in one, but the rain was starting to come down. It looked like it would clear a bit later, so gave us the chance to move the car, have something to eat, and start out again after the rain shower.

Basset’s Cove Walk Directions
We headed off from Basset’s cove to the east but came to Porth-
We decided to turn round and head back towards Hell’s Mouth (where we finished a walk earlier in the week). I later found out the path is open but there is a detour due to a cliff fall.
There are no real directions for this walk, just follow the path and turn back when you you want. Please just allow time to return to the car park before dark.

As you can see we just followed the path along the coast and returned along the same route.
There are stunning views again along the coastal path and well worth exploring the area.
What are you thought on the coast path around here?
