Description

A scenic coastal walk along the South West Coast path from Holywell Bay to Perran Beach and back.

Nearest Refreshments/Toilets

In Holywell Bay at Start/End (Seasonal opening times).

Directions

From the National Trust Car Park cross the road on the footpath opposite.

When the path splits keeps left to head up the slope with the Beach and sand dunes to your right.

Follow the path along the edge to Penhale Point.

Continue along the South West Coast Path to pass the Ministry of Defense’s Penhale Camp. Take note of the warnings and take care not to stray from the path past here.

Once past the camp, round the head at Ligger Point and the stunning views of Perran Beach come into sight.

You can drop down to visit the beach or turn round and head back to Holywell Beach for an explorer before heading back to the car park. The return route is simply following the South West path back to Holywell Bay the way you came.
